Abu Dhabi: Due to the current UAE weather in the nation, the Cabinet has declared that federal government employees will work remotely today.

Weather in the UAE: On April 16 and 17, private schools in Sharjah will offer remote learning.
All sports activities and competitions in the emirate called off as precautionary measure.
Sharjah: The local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah has decided to activate the distance learning system in all private schools and higher education institutions in the emirate on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 16 and 17).
It has also called off all sporting activities and competitions organized by the Sharjah Sports Council in the emirate due to the prevailing weather conditions in the country.
International Airport issues travel advisory ahead of adverse UAE weather conditions
